King of Kings
Working on the first Kennedy sketches. It is a lot harder than I expected. I found an interesting fact, the official autopsy stated Kennedy had BLUE eyes. They are clearly, in every picture light brown to olive colored...interesting.
In working the Kennedy rider, I found a picture with him looking up and to his left, perfect for the descending New City to his left as he rides in to chain the devil for 1000 years. I started with that picture (looking left), then used other pictures and screwed up the sketch.
His eyes look uneven. Well, at least I know I can sketch him but painting him will be another trick to master. This is a second white horse which comes at the end of Revelation; KING OF KINGS LORD OF LORDS, and only he knows his name.
”And I saw the heaven opened. ,and behold, a white horse, and one sitting on it, called Faithful and True, and he judges and makes war in righteousness. And his eyes are flame of fire, and upon his head many diadems, having a name written which no one knows but himself; and he is clothed in a garment dipped in blood; and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in the heavens follow him upon white horses, clad in white, pure, fine linen, And out of his mouth goes a sharp two-edged sword, that he might smite the nations: and he shall shepherd them with an iron rod: and he treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. And he has upon his garment, and upon his thigh, a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.
Drawing man is a most difficult subject. Kennedy had an unusually large jaw, as did his brother. I am continually practicing this pictures and will update every now and again. It will be interesting to see the progress. Please check back for update of this work in progress. I have a little over a year to get it down, I believe I will create a perfect rider!
